Glaucoma is a serious eye disease where the optic nerve gradually loses its neurone cells which leads to vision loss. If left untreated, it could lead to blindness. An elevated intra-ocular pressure is often the main risk factor that leads to glaucoma.

Most types of glaucoma do not present any symptoms in the early stages, therefore have your eyes examined regularly.
